Broadway Bowling Club is delighted to announce that it has been selected by Bowls England to host the regional final of the Walker Cup, one of the most prestigious competitions in the English lawn bowls calendar, on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025.

Often likened to hosting an FA Cup semi-final in football, the Walker Cup is a major highlight of the national women’s bowls season with this event contested by Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire. Being chosen to stage this elite-level event is both a great honour and a responsibility, reflecting the exceptional quality of Broadway’s facilities, the superb condition of its bowling green, and the dedication of its organising committee.

The two-day event is expected to draw some of the best female bowlers in England, as well as a strong crowd of spectators, making it a fantastic opportunity for the local community to experience top-tier sport in a vibrant and welcoming setting.
